What if you could see a specialist at home?

Through the PDCNY program, now you can! All residents of New York State with Parkinson’s are eligible to participate. The program offers telemedicine visits, via secure video conferencing, with Parkinson’s specialists from the University of Rochester. These visits are completely free of charge (no insurance needed) thanks to grants from the Greater Rochester Health Foundation, the Edmond J. Safra Foundation, and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.

Ron and Lucy McCasland, of Saranac Lake, NY, have been able to see a Parkinson’s specialist without having to drive five hours to Rochester thanks to the PDCNY program.

Alma Schultz no longer drives and has difficulty getting to the doctor, but she was still able to retire to her hometown of Brockport, NY, thanks to PDCNY.

Glenn and Carolyn Edwards struggle most with the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s, but have been able to get help and expert recommendations thanks to PDCNY.
